In college, I remember scolding friends (yes, really) for wearing sweats in public. I always considered it as a sign of defeat - you gave up on trying and the result was that you wore sweatpants. BUT (and here's where you get to call me a hypocrite), I loved, loved, loved wearing sweats in the comfort of my own home. There was nothing more satisfying then taking off work clothes and putting on a pair of sweats and lounging out. Now, many years later, I still cringe a bit when I see people wearing sweats in public (sorry - can't lie to ya), but my love for wearing sweats at home has grown deeper. Since those days in college, I've found that the sweat pants game has gone up a notch or two. Case in point: MeUndies.

For those who may be unfamiliar, MeUndies is a Los Angeles-based online-apparel site that offers the best of basics - socks, undies, and pjs (including super chic sweats). I was introduced to the brand about a year ago and tried out some of their undies (super comfy, y'all), so when Chictopia & the brand asked me to collab on a fun little project with them, I couldn't pass it up.
For some, June may mark the start of summer. For San Franciscans, June marks the beginning of winter, aka the perfect time to get cozy. I typically get basic with my sweats - think black and grey - but decided to have a little fun and picked out this purple pair. They're not just fun to look at - they're also amazingly soft and comfortable. Oh, and best part? The pockets! So necessary. I paired the pants with a loose slit tank and some casual, but cute socks. Honestly, this is probably the most chic I've looked when it comes to PJ's, but with MeUndies, basics don't have to be boring.

Guurl, I couldn't agree with you more! I hate seeing gals in sweats in public (esp the airport!). Per Sir Karl 'sweatpants are a sign of defeat'. Though I'm with you on rocking sweats post a long day at home. Nothing better!
