Natalia Vodianova and Sean Combs by Annie Liebovitz for Vogue Feb 2010
If there's one thing I hate, it's when people say they regret past events. For some time now, I have adopted the mentality that everything happens for a reason, and no matter how unfavorable things may be, they happen so that we may learn a lesson. It is so much better for your health when you realize things are happening for you and not to you. So, the next time someone breaks your heart, or you didn't get something you wanted, just remember something so much better is in store for you. That's my wisdom for this Wednesday. Please do share yours below :)
My pearls of wisdom would be 'Don't make him your priority when he only makes you his option.' I just wish I could abide by it!

Hey, I send you a message a while ago. I'm not sure what you needed. An illustration or a header or something. Did you figure things out?
ReplyDeleteByebye!
That's a great attitude to have! I try to think the same way (even if it's hard sometimes)
ReplyDeleteThat editorial is beautiful!

I have to agree with you on this one doll. Obviously your past is a huge part of you and at one point you actually wanted to do what you said you regret. I believe that you shouldn't regret the past, just learn from it and use that for the decisions you make in the present and future.
ReplyDeleteI really love the message above. It's such a lovely and moving message!!!

I totally agree with your wisdom! Why waste time with regret? Every moment that passes is an opportunity to learn from!
ReplyDeleteAlso - really nice combination of quote/Leibovitz photo series and brief summary of your own. The combination of the three is very powerful when put together - so nice work!
Amazing pics, where does this vogue edition come from? USA?
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteI hear you on what you say about not regretting the past events. People do that so much but who would they be without the past?
