Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of working with Benefit Cosmetics to help shoot some photos for their new brow product, Gimme Brow! (You might remember this little teaser post.) Well, fast forward a few months and here we are -- I can finally share the finished product with you! It's a little surreal to see myself online and in product catalogs, but I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. I have yet to snag a catalog in stores (not even entirely sure if they're out just yet), but if you happen to spot one, please be a pal and let a girl know! Oh and if you head on over to Sephora's site, you might just recognize a pair of brown eyes... ;)

Lucky Magazine x Seventh Generation x #AllNaturalStyleSecrets Challenge
Lucky Magazine in conjunction with Seventh Generation asked me to share my #AllNaturalStyleSecrets with you - so this post is dedicated to spilling the beans! When it comes to beauty and fashion, my motto has always been wear what makes you feel good. It doesn't matter if that means wearing a dress and heels, jeans and sneaks, lipstick and lashes or even just plain ole chap stick. The best outfits are always the ones you feel most comfortable in. And as far as beauty is concerned, I've always opted to keep it as au naturale as possible. Now, don't get me wrong, I also love to get dolled up from time to time, but on the day to day, you can typically catch me in my lip gloss, eye liner, and mascara. One thing I do swear by when it comes to beauty is taking care of my skin. I've been blessed with good skin (thank you, genetics), but that doesn't mean I can just let it all go and let the universe do its thing. As best I can, I like to use natural, organic products to make sure I've giving my skin the TLC it deserves.

You've Seen This Before, But Not Like This
Alright, I swear I'm almost done posting photos of Outside Lands... but when your talented friend and photog hands you photos like this, how can you keep them to yourself? Shout out to Ryan Chua for finding me at the festival and snapping some quickies of me on Day 3. I know you've seen the outfit, but can a girl take a moment to talk about her hair? I haven't had a good hair day in a long time, so I am beyond thrilled that the one day I did, someone caught it on film. HOLLER. Just kidding you guys... but seriously.

Food Friday: Domo Sushi
Domo Sushi 511 Laguna Street
Domo Arigato, Mr. Roboto. Hayes Valley is one of my favorite neighborhoods in San Francisco. It's quaint, charming, and full of character. Along with the delightful atmosphere and plentiful boutiques, there also happens to be a plethora of restaurants for the curious foodie. Whether you're there just to sit down and enjoy a cup of joe or perhaps a cocktail or two, Hayes Valley is your spot. After spending the afternoon in a cafe getting in some quality blogging time, I popped into Domo Sushi for some small bites (just enough to satisfy my lingering sushi cravings). I kept it simple with your standard sashimi, miso and a couple of rolls. First up with the Sake Nigiri - fresh (which is a must) and the perfect starter. (As a side note, my favorite place to grab Sake Nigiri is Warakubune in the Castro, but we'll save that for a future Food Friday.) Domo's nigiri wasn't as melt in your mouth fresh as Warakubune, but to be honest, not many places are. Considering that, it still hit the spot.

Benefit Cosmetics #HomeSweetBenefit
My love for Benefit is no secret. So, when I had the opportunity to help the beauty brand celebrate their new flagship opening in San Francisco, there was no doubt that I'd be there to cheer them on. With me was my partner in crime, Kathleen. We toasted the beautifully decorated space with cute mini cocktails, bite sized appetizers, and lots and lots of pink. So much thought and love went into the new space, but the positive affirmations proudly displayed across the walls had to be my favorite little touch. Below are a few snaps taken from the launch party!

Outside Lands 2013 | #lulusatOL
Another festival has come and gone, and here I am experiencing severe withdrawals. Happens every. single. time. I am so, so extremely grateful to LuLu*s for giving me and my partner in crime, Kathleen, the opportunity to cover Outside Lands and do a weekend takeover of their IG. You know I love my Instagram, so it was awesome to be able to share that passion with another community of fashion lovers! It was even more awesome to have so many cutie pie festival-goers find us throughout the weekend and come up to us.
My favorite acts from the weekend included Rhye (so, so, so good), Young The Giant, Vampire Weekend, and of course, Red Hot Chili Peppers. I experienced my first ever funnel cake (I know, who am I?) and basically danced my little behind off. There are certainly not enough photos that can do this weekend justice, but you know me, I'm still going to try. Thank you to everyone who followed our #lulusatOL journey this past weekend - I hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did! xx

Maxed Out
Skirt: American Apparel; Top: Random; Bag: Urban Outfitters; Flats: Forever 21; Necklace c/o Lulus.com; Sunnies c/o SEE Eyewear
Photos by: Kathleen
This skirt makes it in and out of my "donation" pile time and time again. It's the perfect color and a semi-flattering fit, but I never find myself wearing it as much as I'd like. Still, time and time again, even after swearing I'm going to let it go, I find myself wearing it yet again. Ever have items like that? I swear I'm not a hoarder, but sometimes, it's nice to hold on to things...

Food Friday: The Alembic
The Alembic 1725 Haight Street
Ha. You guys probably thought I'd never resurrect this series, eh? Well...fooled you! Despite the months and months and months of no Food Friday posts, I assure you that I was, in fact, still eating. (If you follow me on Insta, you know this to be true.) Nevertheless, dry-spell over. Bringing this baby back and restarting with a bang.

Thursday Treasures: AdoreMe
AdoreMe "Great lingerie is the foundation to any outfit."
Danique Set in Cobalt Blue c/o AdoreMe
It's not often that women talk lingerie. For some reason it's so taboo... luckily, with new ventures like AdoreMe, embracing femininity just got that much more fun. Ladies, real talk - our undies are just as important as our outerwear, so don't be afraid to take time and pick out a great pair.

Levi's SF Flagship Store Opening Party
Levi's Flagship 815 Market Street
It's safe to say that I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for Levi's. So, when I got an invite to help them celebrate their new San Francisco Flagship store opening, I couldn't have been more excited. From the savory small bites and customized cocktails to the denim decor the bustling band - Levi's did nothing but deliver. Oh, and did I mention they had a photo booth? (A blogger's event dream come true.)
The new store was designed with meticulous detail. From the walls of denim to the weaved tapestries, no stone was left unturned. But my favorite touch? Each of the dressing rooms is named after a neighborhood in the city! So absolutely adorable. In fact, so adorable that Kathleen and I just had to take advantage...
