It's time for another stack of Beauty Bites! This time around, we're talking about some things I've tried, some things I love, and some things I can't wait to restock. You might remember my last Tried & True (Love) post, here. Okay, let's dig in!
Klorane Smoothing and Relaxing Patches
Status: Tried
Vote: True Love
I get really bad bags under my eyes. So bad, that I am constantly on the prowl for the best eye soothers out there. Creams, patches, serums galore - you name it, I want it. These Klorane eye patches are a savior. A full box only comes with seven pairs, so I tried my hardest to ration these babies out, but let me tell you, it was hard. I wake up and want to just put them under my eyes for extra relief. I love putting these guys in the fridge. I basically store my whole box in there, but 15 minutes is all you need for a little extra de-puffing. I wear them while I do my eye makeup, which helps capture any mascara or eyeshadow droppings, so I don't have to clean up that area after I'm done with my eyes. They stay on tight and seriously depuff and brighten eyes like no other patch I've tried. I only wish they sold on Sephora!
Yes To Blueberries Eye Firming Treatment

Speaking of the best eye soothers on the block, meet my new friend, Yes To Blueberries Eye Firming Treatment. This lovely cream is a must-have for anyone looking for a new eye cream. I use this baby night and day. Just a gentle little pat under the eyes and you're good to go. Also, I'm fairly sensitive to skincare scents - this one is gentle and fresh, so it's perfect for anyone who is sensitive to scents. (Side note: I also have the Yes To Blueberries lip balm and love it quite dearly!)
Urban Decay Perversion Mascara
Status: Trying
Vote: True
Keeping up with the eye theme, I recently tried out a sample of Urban Decay's newest mascara. This little tube promises bigger, badder, and blacker lashes. So does it deliver? Yes, yes it does, but with some caveats. I try mascaras on the regular. I have a top three list (do I sense a future beauty post?) and I have to admit that Urban's latest mascara definitely pushed one of those suckers off my list. So - things I like: The bristles are soft and mold quite nicely to my lashes. The wand definitely elongates my lashes, and gives them some extra nice volume. Now, what do I dislike? While giving my lashes the extra volume and length I strive for on the daily, sometimes the wand builds up and some clumping action can happen. I do wonder if it's because I have a trial-sized version? Having said that, I do have to say that I like Benefit's They're Real! wand more. For the time being, I alternate between the two. I'll likely purchase a full size version in the future, but I won't be tossing my stash of Benefit mascaras anytime soon.
Clarins Multi-Active Day Early Wrinkle Correction Cream
Status: Tried
Vote: True Love
Last, but certainly not least on today's list is the Clarins Multi-Active Day Early Wrinkle Correction Cream. I blogged about this little jar way back in March when I first received it from a Clarins beauty event. Every single day, post-event, I religiously used this day cream. I love this cream so much that I can't even bring myself to throw away my empty jar, in hopes that I can maybe get one more swipe out of it. (It's not happening, and I'm going to throw it away, ha.) The scent, as I mentioned previously in my earlier post, reminds me a lot of a more mature scent (my nice way of saying it reminds me of my Grandma). But, as I said before, I don't mean this in a bad way - I really do love the way it smells. The cream is gentle, and really, really keeps my face as smooth as a baby's bottom. The only downside to the cream is there's no SPF attached to it. Other than that, it's a 10/10 in my book.
And that's it for this stack! Hope you found my Beauty Bites both tasty and satisfying. Until next time, y'all!
I use the Clarins everyday too! I feel like my skin looks way better after all those Clarins goodies! Happy short week, lady!
