I'm pretty serious about my skincare routine. Last year, I started to up the ante on what I put on and how I take it off. If you must know, I've recently become obsessed with researching and trying new products, and with the cold weather creeping in and out, I've been looking for some gentle products so as to not dry out my face. My latest must-have that's now found a prime spot in my bathroom cabinet? NUDE Skincare. Full disclosure, I've tried two of the three products shown above, but both have made my skin feel and look great. For those of you who may not have heard of NUDE, get ready to for me to give you the 4-1-1.
I was introduced to NUDE late last year at an event, where I got to preview the products and learn more about the company and its beliefs in using natural ingredients. I think it's important to use products for at least three to four weeks to see if their really making a difference. So, over the last couple of months, I've used the Purify Deep Cleansing Mask quite regularly. I use it once every week (or every other week) when I want to give my skin a gentle scrub. NUDE recommends using the product twice a week, but I personally don't like to exfoliate my skin that much. After I give the tiny beads a good rub on my skin, I let the mask set for about ten minutes. Then, I wash the mask off with warm water. My skin feels instantly softer, which I love. I am lucky in that I have fairly soft skin to begin with, but any product that helps preserve that is a-ok in my book.
The other product I've used is the Perfect Cleanse Omega Jelly. It goes on as a gel and transforms into a milk cleanser when water is applied. I think this one is a good option if you wear light makeup. Personally, I am heavy on the liquid liner and mascara, so I've had trouble with this cleanser getting it all off. It's also not as gentle as I would like for my eye area, so I only use this one when I've had a light makeup day. I've yet to use the Detox Powder Wash, but I am looking forward to trying it out, too. (If any of you have tried it, would love to hear your thoughts.)
So, with the new year in full swing, what beauty or skincare products are you guys trying out this year? Would love to hear what you're incorporating into your beauty routine for the new year! Stay tuned for my next Beauty Bites post - thinking about sharing my haircare or favorite makeup staples next.
This looks really cool and i love the packaging! :)
