Somehow, just somehow, I convinced Derrick to take "real" outfit photos of me. I've been easing him in with the iPhone #OOTD's, but we made a big step with actual camera photos. The progress has slightly stalled (considering these photos were taken a month ago, lol), but next week we're on our way to Hawaii, so I'm forcing the camera back into his hands. But, in all seriousness, I know you guys have missed the outfit photos, so I'll bring them back as best I can! Starting with this one. We took a trip to wine country (yes, again) and I couldn't resist playing matchy-matchy. Of course, we lucked out with the red leaves, red wine, and red bag, but you know what they say - luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity (and we were prepared).
A perfect fall day, when the air is crisp and the leaves are just starting to turn, calls for a statement making (and weather appropriate) ensemble. I decided to bust out my plaid cape with my favorite leopard booties for a little compare and contrast and pulled everything together with the matching red and black hues. You've undoubtedly seen me lugging around this bag all over Insta, but word on the street is that you'll continue to. I'm much more prone to carrying crossbody bags (the fewer things to carry, the better!), but on days when I know I'm adventuring a little farther away, I lug this baby around with me. It's got space for more than you know - my planner, my sunnies, my mophie, my camera - aka my life. And these sunnies - it's no secret I'm a junkie for a good oversized pair of glasses. These are no exception. Sadly, this pair was only on loan, so I'm in the process of deciding if I bite the bullet... Don't be surprised if they make a special appearance in my next #OOTD post.
